The veteran Zubrus and the rookie Pelley scored their 1st goals of the season in a 3-goal flurry yesterday night to help the host New Jersey Devils beat the Flyers. Dainius Zubrus and Brian Gionta scored within eighteen seconds of each other in the 1st period after spotting the Flyers a 1-0 lead, and Dainius Zubrus scored again to give the New Jersey Devils a 3-1 lead. Rodney Pelley’s first NHL goal early in the 2nd period sent Philadelphia goaltender Martin Biron to the bench.
