The Rams were finally able to break out of a long winless drought this week. The 49ers would definitely love to do the same on Sunday at Monster Park, when the two rivals clash in a matchup between the clubs that are enduring disappointing seasons. Both the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers were expected to contend in what was generally viewed as a wide-open National Football Conference West this year, the playoffs appear to be a goal well out of reach for either team right now.
