Steve Spagnuolo has made another smart move by turning down the offer from the Washington Redskins to coach the team. After Joe Gibbs retired, Dan Snyder, the owner, is being an impulsive type of boss which could mean bad news for the next coach. Spagnuolo says that it is a problem that he doesn’t need right now. At present, Spagnuolo is the defense coordinator for the New York Giants who just won the Super Bowl. He has had a great season and now is being called by the Redskins. He came up with a remarkable game plan for the team that led them to victory.

Spagnuolo is an old student of football. He has worked for NFC East and spent eight years on the Philadelphia coaching team. He is good at coaching linebackers and defensive positions. He upped the ante on the Giants pass rushes and cleared up some of their weaknesses in the process. It was his idea to bring in Justin Tuck as a pass rushing tackle. He will now return to New York and get a sizable pay raise. Most people think he made the right decision considering the upset at Washington’s camp. He may be able to keep learning and then one day land another coaching position that he can make his own as well.
