Errie Els wins the 16th PGA tour title

Errie Els was in an ecstatic condition after winning the 16th PGA tour title after a long wait. Now he is ranked No 3 in the world, following Tiger woods and Phil Mickelson. He won the Honda Classic PGA National title by successfully conquering a deficit of three shots. This is his first victory after the 2004 American Express Championship. Winning the PGA was his Goal and he was very happy and grateful to achieve his target. Errie Els has pushed aside the leading players in golf like Mark Calcavecchia, Luke Donald and Matt Jones to reach the victory.

Els made his victory by bogeying the 17th, but remained on the top of the leader board on seven. However, the other players found it difficult to reach to Els at the final holes, as the course was tough and windy. Els’s shots gained momentum after the seven holes and he managed to win even after dropping a shot. He said his ability to play in windy conditions and his experience in British Open helped him in winning the game. This man from South Africa has won many tournaments in different part of the world, but was obsessed with the idea of winning PGA National.
