The Premier League is dominating European soccer

The English Premier League is the prime soccer tournament in the whole of Europe according to Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United coach. He is of the opinion that the English teams are a dominant force when compared to other European league teams and says that the qualifying of four English teams Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal in the quarterfinals of the Champion’s League is a proof that the English teams are the teams to beat in Europe. He feels that the English Premier League has overtaken the Spanish League as the powerful soccer league in Europe. He also expects three out of the four English teams to qualify to the semi finals of the Champions League unless they are pitted against each other in the quarter finals.

Manchester United has never met an English team in the Champions League tie and their manager Sir Alex is pretty much relaxed before the Friday’s draw that will reveal their quarter final opponent as well as might let them know who their semi finalist opponent might be. He is fully aware that the English teams will have to meet each other at some point of time due to the new format and hence is not worried of meeting an English team in the quarter finals.
