8:55 am Manchester United
One of sports leading coaching personality, Sir Alex Ferguson, is of the opinion that Manchester United could have scored more goals than the three they scored in the soccer game played at Old Trafford against their arch rivals Liverpool. Manchester United won the game convincingly, but Sir Alex is of the opinion that even though his team had better chances and better penetration, it lacked the goal scoring instinct that he expected from the team.
Sir Alex was disappointed that the team did not finish off their arch rivals in the first half itself and had to wait for late goals from Ronaldo and Nani to seal the three points in the Premiership League. Manchester United is sitting pretty on top of the ladder of the Premiership League at the moment and is not getting carried away by the lead. The coach acknowledged that the win in the game against Liverpool is a good morale booster for the entire team and wanted his team to play like champions to attain the premiership title.
