Danica Patrick raced into the history books of the Indy car as she became the first woman in the entire world to win the race in the history of Indy car on Sunday. Danica made it to the winning position in her 50th career race start at the Indy Japan 300. Patrick said that she was extremely happy about the race result and was pleased that she finally made it to the number one spot on the podium. She said that she was always looking to win at least a race and is glad to have achieved it in the 50th race of her career.
The 26 year old racing sports personality said that she was relieved now as she will not be required to answer the repeated question that many people ask her about winning a race. Patrick won the Sunday race with fuel tank strategy and took the lead into the first position from pole starter Helio in the 198th lap of the 200 lap race.
