Manny Ramirez is in superlative form off late and it shows in his game as he not only scored his 501st home run of his career but also helped the Boston Red Sox team to register a 9-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles last Sunday night. One might remember that Ramirez became the 24th player in MLB history to score 500 career home runs and this one also came against the Orioles in the previous night’s game. Ramirez said that he was pleased to achieve the 501 home run mark he had set in a short span of time and thanked all his supporters, especially fans who had bought tickets to see him play, for all the encouragement that they had given him all through his playing career.
