Athletics’ energetic left-hander Gio Gonzalez had a very rude awakening when the Chicago White Sox tramped over the Athletics’ 13-1 in Oakland. Earlier last year Gonzalez had trained with Chicago and was considered as one of the team’s hot prospects but his performance on Sunday did no good to his chances of a possible transfer. This is a big series win for White Sox as they have very rarely managed to leave McAfee Coliseum with a win.
