Brad Johnson, the backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, hasn’t looked all that hot in recent weeks. In Week 8, he threw just 122 yards, and the team got a total of 172 yards. There are questions starting to come up about whether he’s the right man for the job. Tony Romo, the original starting QB, is injured. The Cowboys report that Johnson will “probably” start for the team in their next game, against the New York Giants (who won yesterday against the Steelers, 21-14). The Cowboys’ best wide receivers and tight ends haven’t had a very easy time with Johnson, it seems, as they have very little in terms of yardage or wins to show for it. Johnson is the oldest active quarterback in the league. The team won against Tampa Bay yesterday, 13-9.
