The Green Bay Packers were within a game of leading their division. The Carolina Panthers were tied for the lead of theirs. So the game they played last Sunday was a very important one and a must-win for both of them. Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers led the Packers back from a 21-10 halftime deficit. But in the end, the Packers’ defense and special teams blew the game and they lost it 35-31. The Panthers are one of the surprise teams this year. They are currently tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the top of the NFC South division. The Packers are 1-4 since their bye week and seem to be sinking rather quickly. Rodgers has done a pretty good job this year, but still doesn’t seem to be able to carry this team by himself.
