Michael Jordan retired from the Chicago Bulls 10 years ago this month. It is a little sad to think that it’s been that long. Remember, though, he didn’t actually stop playing after this retirement. He came back to the game in 2001 to try his hand at it again. But it just wasn’t the same. Jordan and the Bulls won their last championship in 1998 against the Utah Jazz, which was an exciting time, Jordan having shot the final points for the Bulls. And then he retired. There will never be another like him, because there just aren’t superstars like him out there right now. Think of another professional athlete, in any sport, who is so very well known all around the world. I can’t think of anyone at all.
