Cutler coming to the Chicago Bears? The idea is kind of absurd. When was the last time that the Bears got a starting first string quarterback through a trade with another team. Or one that was already in the professional league? One columnist on the Chicago Tribune has decided that it wouldn’t be worth it anyway, because Cutler is a quitter. Rick Morrissey, the columnist, says that Cutler quit his team as soon as it seemed like he wasn’t getting his way. Is that the kind of player that Chicago wants? he asks. Perhaps not. He does have a better suggestion for the team: get some real wide receivers. If Kyle Orton gets the real thing, he might be a really good quarterback yet. In the meantime, he’s decent and holds the team up pretty well.
