Johnson wins agianst old team

On Sunday afternoon 45 year old Randy Johnson went six innings with a no hitter. It was not until the seventh inning when Johnson allowed Arizona Diamondbacks Augie Ojeda to hit a leadoff double. This was the 14^th time that Johnson has taken a no hitter into the seventh inning. Johnson is 1-2 for this season and has 2963th victory of his 22 year career and is on his way to becoming the 24^th pitcher to win 300 games. This was the first time he beat his old team as part of the Giant’s organization. As a Diamondback Johnson had a 118-62 record in the eight seasons with the team, he also won five Cy Young awards and was part of their World Series team in 2001.
