There was an interesting story yesterday about Chicago Blackhawk’s player Patrick Kane, who was in Buffalo this weekend. Apparently, he and his brother took a cab to the place they were staying. The cab ride cost $13.80 and he gave them $15. The cab driver had the dollar, but didn’t have 20 cents for the rest of the change. Somehow this dispute became bigger and it seemed natural, perhaps, that Kane started to hit the cab driver and grabbed his throat, etc. His glasses were broken in the incident. The Chicago media picked it up and went crazy, making it sound like an awful crime of deep hatred. Even the cab driver’s attourney was on the radio in the city yesterday saying that it was blown way out of proportion and that it was going to get worked out equitably. I guess that means Kane will be getting his 20 cents back. Oh and probably paying the driver for the injuries. It wont be a felony, they said.
